I love this place, the mill is beautiful and very historical. Tours are definitely worth it as you get to see the very top of the building and the staff is great. You can also throw a pole into the waters around it and enjoy a nice stroll through the amazing covered bridge! Worth coming from a good distance to see as there are not many left standing and Missouri has one!!

Great mill to visit. The current mill was built in 1867 and is the third to occupy this site. The original mill was built in 1800. Most of the original equipment has been removed except for the turbines and a set of 42” mill stones. There are several good examples of elevators, augers, rollers mills, and other equipment on display. The mill is no longer operated due to flood damage to the foundation. The foundation of the mill is directly in the water with the turbines located under the building. There is a covered bridge next the mill above the mill dam that is in great shape. The mill and bridge are very worthy of photographs.

A cool location. The bridge is in great shape and the mill is a cool structure. A very picturesque, quiet area worth a visit.

Very clean grounds. Informative. Great photo opportunity. Peaceful. Gentleman working the mill very friendly and helpful.

I love seeing historic places. A trip back in time, beautiful scenery, toured the mill walked across the bridge. Hope to go back.
